Fin takes WTTC content to the world

Fin was the chosen media partner for the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). Representing the leaders of the Travel & Tourism industry, and with a truly global membership, the WTTC met for their annual Global Summit – held, this year, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We were responsible for broadcasting the Summit around the globe, while delivering numerous news packages to Reuters and Associated Press and creating much of the Summit film and animation content.

One of the main drivers of the WTTC is to help governments understand the importance of the industry – such as the fact the sector employs 1 in 10 people on the planet. It is vitally important that governments listen to their message and this year’s summit played host to not only Argentina’s Prime Minster but a further 2 more heads of state, 3 former presidents, 30 ministerial delegations and over 1200 delegates. Fin was instrumental in helping broadcast the WTTC's messages to these leaders - and beyond, to the widest possible audience across the globe.

Continuing our decade-long relationship with the WTTC, we were at the heart of their most important event – both beforehand and on-site in Buenos Aires itself. Fin’s graphics head, Darian Weir, created distinctive, Argentinian-inspired motion graphics packages and content for use on-stage (see below), alongside stylised films featuring major speakers and companies, including Coca-Cola & Stuart Spencer. Meanwhile, Fin led WTTC’s content hub and backstage media team to provide dedicated livestream feeds of the entire 2 day event to a global audience, while filming, interviewing and editing over 50 industry and government leaders. All eyes turn to the next Global Summit in Seville, Spain in 2019.
