Simply inspired by the typewritten white-on-black motif at the end of vintage French films -‘fin’, creatively we worship the classic and relish the contemporary. Fin’s odyssey is to provide outstanding media partnership for our clientele in all 21st century communications.

Fin specialises in creating, producing and delivering finely crafted television programmes, commercials and sponsorship campaigns, high-end design, digital media and brand communiqués for both the UK and international markets.

Our channel, agency and global brand clients further appreciate the integral value afforded through Fin’s complete range of post production facilities, at our distinctive base in London’s Soho Square.

Although we remain defiantly independent and apparently petite, a myriad of Fin productions now air daily through the year: Christmas 2011 alone saw the concurrent transmission of 5 Fin-created commercials and 6 unique sponsorship campaigns, as well as our acclaimed 60-minute documentary on the UK’s official ‘coolest brand’ Aston Martin, for National Geographic Channels worldwide.

OMPI

The Fin vision has always been to involve customers and employees in both our brand and the creative process, making Fin a fun, profitable, and quality experience, which grows value for all. Now, for new and existing clients alike, we aim to further enhance our mission - as dynamic creative media partners. This project is code-named finOMPI!

Using our creative and business skills range and multi-media experience, with OMPI we now look to offer a ‘super-hybridity’ of ideas outside our core moving image brief, to create even more value and results for our customers: Social media, apps, brand spin-offs, related design, roll-outs, AFP’s, project-specific brand partnerships and events.

Realising the brief

Ideas hold no fear for fin! Au contraire! We don’t wrap them up in cotton wool, cut off our ‘creatives’ from clients, tell you it’ll take them days/weeks even months to come up with concepts, then go into a sulk when on pitch told they’re too expensive / off-brand / un-makeable! Does any of this sound familiar? Thought so…

No. Fin doesn’t do any of that nonsense. As opposed to the old-school advertising industry model that persists from the Mad Men era to this day, we were trained in the hard-knocks school of commercial television programme-making: A place where coming up with great ideas on-budget and QUICKLY were just another integral part of the job spec, along with a wide technical and administrative skill-range of how to produce and direct.

Our record from brief to air is 48 hours (Buitoni) and we have twice accomplished it in 5 days (Glenmorangie and Rimmel London).

On less urgent time frames, Fin always look to present 3 alternative creative routes, but whatever the ideas-delivery schedule, we determine to be creative-accessible, concept-original, budget- practical - and fast.

Clearance

Integral prior to delivery are a range of approval points - technical, legal and creative. Fin take pride in our direct responsibility for ensuring these vital check-points are all pre-planned, signed off and completed at all stages of production, from pre through post.

We have detailed proven experience in successfully negotiating clients’ preferred creative through key contacts at the following media industry guardian bodies: Clearcast (for commercials), OFCOM & Channel Compliance (for programmes & sponsorship) and RACC for radio

Fin also boasts a specialist commercial music clearance and rights costing system for our clients, via a wide range of music industry contacts.

Delivery

Fin are named after the classic cinematic motif that closed French films of the 1960s, ‘La Fin’, We chose the word for ‘end’ because our ethos is for fin clients to enjoy an open, stylish and stress-free production journey - to end delivery of successful creative.

Fin have established our own unique network of client review and final delivery systems, making the potentially complex task of reaching all targeted audiences quick, easy, secure and reliable.
