Fin upgrades Flame and Red camera

Did you know we have our own, high-end filming and post production finishing departments here, in-house, at Fin?

It’s been good news for us at this year’s National Association of Broadcasters show in Vegas, where last week over 100,000 of the world’s leading broadcasters launched their products.

Fin’s work was showcased on the Quantel Colour Grading stand, where there was a welcome series of new updates for our high end post and production equipment.

Our RED Digital Cinema camera will be receiving new high-speed frame rates, which will mean great looking Hi-Resolution slow motion shots for our next productions! Our Autodesk Flame graphics machine has been upgraded with new stunning particle effects and stereoscopic tools. Finally, our Avid editing systems have new image tools, with more grading and image manipulation, which means even better looking shots – and saving clients even more time in the edit.

If you would like to know how these developments could benefit your future projects, please give us a call or pop in. The team would love to show off their shiny new toys!

Tokyo a go go

Tokyo a go go

A Fin crew, led by director Paul Denchfield, flew to the Japanese capital mid-April to film for our long-term client the World Travel & Tourism Council. WTTC is the authority representing an industry that accounts for a whopping 10% of global GDP. WTTC’s Tokyo summit also hit the headlines as BA boss Willie Walsh used the platform to launch the latest episode of his long-running airline feud with Virgin’s Richard Branson. Which you can read here. Meanwhile, back on planet tarmac, Fin is producing 3 TV commercials for WTTC, one each for the European, UK and American markets.
